a brief announcement

buy me a coffee a month maybe?

hello everyone,

this is just a little post to say that i have paid subscriptions available for my substack. i wouldn’t have even considered making this announcement until i somehow gained, like, a few hundred subscribers or something. but it’s recently come to my attention that i am fully and entirely broke. like, $0.41 in my checkings and $9.13 in my savings. i have issues and probably need to budget. that said, if any of you have the money and would like to support me, you can become a paid subscriber for $5 a month. honestly i would have liked to make it $3 a month but for some reason substack literally doesn’t allow anything below $5. if people became paid subscribers then i would start posting a lot more, as well as make some exclusive content for paid subscribers— literally anything that you guys want, more about the books i read and movies i consume, Q&A type stuff, anything!!

i also do just want to say that i literally do not think that my writing it worth paying for WHATSOEVER. please do not think that this post is me thinking that i actually deserve money from the ametur little things i write. i do not think that at all. i truly only do this whole substack thing for myself and because i enjoy it and it gives me something to motivate myself toward. this post is just me saying that if you HAVE the money and for some reason want to buy me a coffee each month and support a broke and struggling college student, it would be enormously appreciated. also, my birthday is on may 10th so it could make a good birthday present.
